craerhode Would you mind opening and sending pics of the actual item? It’s hard to get a sense of what it actually looks like. Especially since the strip pattern is definitely different.

czuppo @craerhode I'll give it some thought. I'm not sure I want to mess up the original packaging as the pattern can be seen through the tissue paper. Thanks for your question in the meanwhile.

czuppo @craerhode I've decided not to remove the original wrapping as this item is now a collectible [Bendel's is out of business] and doing so would reduce the resale value. I want to offer a pristine, in original packaging item. However, you can see the striping through the tissue paper, as I already mentioned. I hope you understand and thank you for your question.

craerhode @czuppo does it have a button closure like the stock photo? Is there a flap that protects the owner info? Are the stripes and stitching straight? I’d love to acquire an HB luggage tag, but I can’t buy sight unseen.

czuppo @craerhode Yes, the construction is exactly the same as the stock photos. Only the stripe direction is different.
