Vintage Hermès-Etriers emerald and gold scarf. Wonderfully detailed and elegant silk jacquard scarf designed By Francoise de la Perrier. In the 1950’s, the Classical and equestrian iconography on a Hermès of Paris scarf spoke of an impossibly glamorous life. Today every Hermès scarf is still handmade and screen printed with hand-rolled edges. Great condition. There is a small section with a slight shadow of foundation.

milatoday @theclotheshound hi. In my research I found Etriers silk scarf, Hermès vintage, Ireland, designed by F. de la Perriere. The scarf was my mother in laws. I have additional photos I found on line of similar scarves but I don’t want to delete the ones I’ve already posted of my own. Thank you.

theclotheshound @milatoday Thanks for additional info. I love this design and own a few different color ways. Jacquard scarves are printed on fabric that has a specific design woven into it. If this is indeed a jacquard, which design is it printed on, as it’s not apparent in the listing photos. I’d love to own a jacquard Etrier, but there are some jacquard patterns that I avoid. Thnx
