The material on the picture with the Vera Bradley signature looks like very old and has a lot of snags. Is that right?

I like the 3 zippered compartments, lots of room. But I think the camera is not giving the true color. It looks like there is a darker tint on the outside flap of the middle zipper like black on the picture with the opened bag.

@juanita712 I do not smell any smoke or other odors. The closure strap is the same color as the bag- no discoloration. I think it may look darker because it is not quilted like the rest of the purse. I don't see any snags on the signature on the outside of the purse. I will add a close up of the signing label!

It is a chocolate brown. The only wear I could consider wear is on the closure strap and it might just be because the strap is a bit stiffer than the rest of the purse. I'll do a close up of the strap and put with the pictures of the purse.

Any wear on the handles? I have seen a few Vera Bradley with a wear on the handles because the material is cotton or fabric.

I personally think the handles look just about new. I don't see any wear on them. The picture is hard to see, but I don't see any worn or fraying areas on the handles!
