jessoleary88 Why are all of these morganite rings so cheap? It doesn’t make sense to me. Are they real?

gemtribe @jessoleary88 I understand your question. Yes, they are real. I’m getting mine directly from the manufacturer overseas so there’s a lot of middleman cut out. Usually Jewelry in a jewelry store is marked up at much as 10X.

gemtribe @jessoleary88 In addition to the fact that most importers mark up 3X for wholesale and 6X for retail. We are in a unique situation right now where we are able sometimes to buy directly from the overseas manufacture. And for some reason, there is little to no shipping cost from some countries. gemtribe @jessoleary88 of course! My background was traveling the world and buying gemstones, designing jewelry and finding silversmiths around the world to make it, importing it, wholesaling it and even retailing it ;-). So I feel like I can see behind the curtain…. Basically we are skipping lots of steps and getting it directly to owner.

gemtribe @elizababy Hi Sara, I don’t have a size 6 in this style right now (there are other morganite rings in my closet that I have more sizes in). They started making the same ring as three rings that stack together, instead of one. I’ve ordered one to make sure the quality is as good. I’ll keep you updated! Also, I have so much jewelry I just haven’t had a chance to post yet. So keep your eye on my closet 🦋

gemtribe @pcktfulodaisies The same Source is offering a ring set that’s essentially the same thing, but is three pieces. You can change the order of them. There’s a listing in my closet of that one then you can see individual pictures. But the single ring has a slightly smaller blueprint, which might be nice for a size 6 ring. If you’re a size 9, three rings is probably a better option. Make sense?
