southpawlux3 Why such high price? I’ve seen on the clearance rack at Footlocker/Eastbay retail stores for $49.99

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 interesting really I have sold a couple pairs for approx this price give or take.

southpawlux3 @robertmcnicholl Definitely a nice shoe. I have the UNC pair but they got dirty so quick because of the white. Really like the look on this shoe. Looks like pristine condition as well. Would make you an offer but I would probably start at $50 so I won’t bother you with it. I’m curious though, I know Poshmark pays for postage but do you have to pay extra to mail something like shoes because of the weight?

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 the seller only has to pay extra fee if the package is over five lbs. most shoes are around 3-4 lbs. a bigger size timberland boot can be over 5lbs. And then when people bundle like two pairs of shoes in one purchase it’s probably going to go over five pounds. Send me an offer we can work something out for these

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 I only have one pair left ! And I have a wedding to pay for everything must go lol

southpawlux3 @robertmcnicholl So you’re better off mailing shoes that either don’t have a box, or without boxing I’m guessing. I usually schedule package pick-up during the normal mail route and that’s free, I’m just wondering how it works if you schedule a package that may or may not be over 5lbs (I don’t have a scale). And I appreciate it man, but I’m good. I couldn’t go higher than $60-65. But you gotta make money too so I’m good homie.

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 and u just buy a scale cheap. On like amazon or eBay. Shipping scale. Very cheap.

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 and the boxes used for poshmark are free it’s all priority mail no matter if u sell 1 ounce or 5 lbs. so the United States postal service store gives out free priority mail boxes. Go to the usps website and click free shipping suppplies.

southpawlux3 @robertmcnicholl That’s messed you, because I went to my local post office and the lady told me she didn’t know much about Poshmark but said that I had to pay for boxes. However, I don’t think I asked about priority mail boxes, so who knows! I suppose I could just try it, or call but the thought came through my mind as I was looking at the pics of these so I threw it out there saved myself a phone call lol

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 yah free boxes but order them from the usps website. As long as there priority mail boxes. Which is what poshmark uses.

southpawlux3 I appreciate you coming down that much man, trust me I do and I’m definitely not trying to angle you or soften you but I’ll respectfully decline. I’m just considering deals because I’m trying to look into re-marketing items for small margin but I mean, it’s seeming to be more and more of a grind. Some people know their prices and some people really don’t haha! Good luck to you though brother, maybe we can do business!

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 it’s called retail arbitrage. Watch some YouTube videos on it. U can do well.

southpawlux3
southpawlux3 @robertmcnicholl Ok ok, thank you. Might as well learn a thing or 2 while I get use to this app. We may be in business in the future for sure, because if I can figure out my method of selling a few pair of shoes (if cost to ship doesn’t bite me) then I can definitely bring myself a little closer to your price range on these. I want these shoes to hoop in and I can rock them with anything I like the UNC ones

robertmcnicholl @southpawlux3 the buyer pays for shipping. When u sell u don’t have to pay for shipping unless you choose to send out that offer.

southpawlux3 @robertmcnicholl Right right right I know that but I’ve been more so confused about what my post office told me. It’s on me but I just started doing this last month.
