Lay clothes flat as shown: buttoned/ zipped/ untied if waist has a sash. Waist/ waistbands: multiply x2 Rompers: shoulder to crotch seam. RISE: the measurement for shorts/pants: from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband. Very important as torsos come in various lengths and coverage preferences vary. I happen to need a very high rise so I always ask for this. Measure perfect fit items you own to know your desired measurements; size tags are not always present/ accurate.

becky6259 This helps a lot, especially the jeans number sizes! This is also great for sellers -- when a buyer thinks they're getting something a certain length and then it it arrives shorter/longer because the seller measured it wrong, it can be so frustrating. Thanks for sharing this!
