theglamnextdoor @hillary8319 Hello,and thanks for your order (shipped out this morning along with a gift!). Since the rings are gold toned alloy, if they are exposed for a long time to water (meaning if you always keep them on your fingers when washing your hands, or store them in a moist place like a bathroom countertop), then they can tarnish. I suggest storing them in a dry spot and always removing when washing your hands! My set has not turned my fingers green, but most rings don't have this effect on me :)
