Silly question but you’d be a quick subject matter expert here: If I am a size 0; and wear petite or “short” jeans: what does that typically make my size in designer or better made jeans? I just don’t fully understand their sizing charting. I’m 5’2, 100ish lbs and finally started looking haha

vman007420 @infinitewear Hi Tracey🙂 Your question is good but hard to explain with limited space. The designer aspect should not change your size 0/petite from non designer jeans. Brand to band, cuts, materials, used or new etc. are factors that will affect measurement/fit. Even the same jean from the same brand may have varying measurements depending on the factory it came from i.e. one made in Egypt the other in Brazil. Continued...

If you want my opinion as to the best way to find a jean that works for you when buying online, I would get two or three of your best fitting jeans and measure them flat, inseam, rise, waist, etc. also look at meterials then compare your measurements with jeans your interested in. As long as there are good pics for you to mimic the measurement you can pretty much zero in on jeans that should fit the way you like. Continued...

vman007420 Continued... In my opinion thats the best way, I very rarely ever have any jean or pant that actually measures the same as the tag, thats why I take so many flat measurements. This is good reason to always check flat measurements. You may find something thats not your tag size that fits perfectly. I have a tag size zero pair of pants listed now that fits as a size four, so always check the flat measurement when buying online! Continued...

vman007420 Continued... You can always ask for more measurements if needed to verify fit, most people will have no problem uploading different measurements to the listing if needed. If they dont or the pics. are shady stay away!! If you need me to try and find you some jeans just take some pics of flat measurements and send them to me and I will keep my eyes open, if your looking for a brand etc. just let me know!
