โTropiques" is a fabulous Hermรจs carreฬ by the famous artist Laurence Bourthomieux. It is a stunning scarf with the central panel illustrating birds of paradise and tropical plants in bright pink tones, all of which are surrounded by zebras and giraffes grazing on the African plains on the turquoise border with ocean blue accents. This design was issued in 1987. In silk twill with hand- rolled edges.

Any stains, rips or tears?

@shoprebeccaann No tears or pulls. Some wrinkles. Also, a little white shows in some areas of the hand rolled edges - as if the person rolling the edges didnโt roll them quite as much as on my other scarves, or the dye was not done quite as far. It has been like that from the beginning - not a defect, but if you closely at the edges, you will see what I am talking about.

@shoprebeccaann If you look at the picture that shows the tag, for example, right along the rolled edge you will see a lighter color just on the very edge. The edges are all in good condition. This is just an idiosyncrasy of this particular scarf. Thanks for asking! Let me know if you have any other questions. ๐

@hollybeers_ Sorry, not for this one. I have fewer boxes than scarves. It will be be carefully, safely, and neatly packed for shipping. I know the Hermรจs box is what is most wanted and I canโt do that, but I could send it in a non-Hermรจs box appropriate for storage if you want. If you end up buying any scarf that doesnโt have the branded box, just remind me before I ship. ๐

If you go with any of my scarves, I will send it in a gift wrapped storage box (the top wrapped separately, so you can check everything out before gifting, but do not have to figure out wrapping or subsequent storage. Obviously get the scarf you decide is perfect for her (not based on box or anything like that) - the gifting details are easy enough, you just want a scarf that she will treasure always. What a lovely gift! โค๏ธโค๏ธ
