@nretzleff I've had a couple issues with transactions gone wrong. I think that's bound to happen in any retail situation. I just do my best and when I make a mistake, I own it quickly and offer whatever I can to make up for it. For example, I mistakenly put the wrong size on a listing and my item didn't fit the customer. They opened a case with Poshmark.

@nretzleff I responded to the case with an apology, a stated hope that Poshmark refund then quickly, and an offer to assist the customer in finding an equivalent item from another Poshers closet. They were very receptive and happy with that. I spent about an hour combing through closets for them and found them something they really liked and all was well.

@nretzleff On the other hand, I had a customer claim I sent the wrong size (but didnt) and gave me a one star rating. They wanted a refund but Poshmark requires proof (like a photograph) of the mistaken size. They never submitted proof (because there was none) and I got paid anyway. Such is life. Overall, selling AND buying on Poshmark has been a very positive experience.

@nretzleff One last thing. Dont sweat it if you get one bad rating. When I got that 1 star rating, I freaked. However, because I typically get 5 star ratings across the board, I'm still a top rated seller with a 4.8 rating. I've gotten a couple 4 star ratings, and I do write those customers to ask them how I could improve my service to them. I've yet to get specific feedback. I think some people just reserve 5 star ratings for very exceptional experiences.

Please keep in mind that POSH only covers 5 lbs for shipping and the seller has to cover the additional shipping cost. Also offering $40 for a $108 order is extremely unreasonable.
