christiemicaela @stacey_b1 very true to size, I actually purchased an 8, 8.5, and 9 and kept the 8.5, which is my normal size - they fit like a glove!

cacj56 beautiful boots! i'm concerned about the shaft height of 17.75" per the website (but you list 15", which is better). i'm 5'1". is the leather of the shaft soft enough so you can push it down? and will it stay down as you walk? or does the top of the shaft cover the knee? does that impede knee bending while walking? thanks!!!

christiemicaela @cacj56 Yes, they're gorgeous! I added some pictures of these boots in 8.5 (my boots!) to show the length of these boots and how they look on. The leather is indeed soft; in the picture showing me wearing a boot, the boot is pulled all the way up, so there is some stitching that maintains the ruched look. I would say that you can push the top down for sure, although the top few inches of the boot seem just slightly stiffer that the rest of the shaft, which I imagine keeps them from sliding down

christiemicaela I can't speak to whether the would impede the knee from bending because they do not come up that high on me (I am 5'8"), but I pushed them down and walked around for a minute without noticing them riding up! By the way, please excuse the dirty floors - we have had guys working in the house for the past couple of days! 😁 Let me know if you have any other questions! I am obsessed with these boots and find them to be really beautiful and comfortable at the same time!
