Beautiful, Circa 1960 unique, pristine, vintage floral iridescent brooch. Measures ~4" in length and flower measures ~1 and 1/2 inches in width with a maximum 1/2 inch profile or height Signed and never used. Many copies around, but this is original. Vintage Alice Caviness Flower Brooch Large Gold Tone AB Beads Cluster Signed A burst of aurora borealis crystal glass beads brilliantly blossom in Alice Caviness' long stemmed flower brooch, circa 1960s. Along with a gold tone twisted rope stem and a pair of aurora borealis pear shaped rhinestone leafs, the brooch revels in it's sumptuousness and simplicity. As glorious as when created. The brooch measures a generous approximate 4 1/4 inches x 1 1/2 inches at it's widest point. Weight of the brooch is 23.4 grams. Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All beads and rhinestones free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All retain ab treatment and dazzle. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All soldering and wiring secure (beads are wired to a pierced dome). Pin mechanism strong and secure. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent perfect vintage condition. The brooch is signed on reverse within an oval cartouche: "ALICE" underscored with "CAVINESS". CIrca 1960s.
