#1 - The Secret of the Old Clock - has a copyright date of 1959. I suspect that it is from the late 50s as it has the older cover and based on the style of clothing on the cover. There is a name on the front paper and a small white mark - like maybe a sticker or something was there and removed taking the paper with it, its not torn. The front end paper is split as per photo but I don't see any folds, tears, marks etc. see comments for more info

fosterdogdom #23 - Mystery of the Tolling Bell is probably from the mid 70s as it shows a copyright of 1973 - in good condition, some smudging on the yellow cover - the front inside page is torn at the bottom, but on quick flip through I don't see any marks or tears These books were stored so they may have a musty, old and/or "basement" smell - I don't think they do, just smell like books to me, but I'm just putting it out there Really cool vintage Nancy Drew books!
