lisalmt57 @chip2000 Hi, and apologies for the late response---there is 10.5" inside ankle hidden zipper that goes from mid-calf to instep, allowing just enough space to pull on.

chip2000 @lisalmt57 These are beautiful boots! What is the calf circumference on these guys? My calves are pretty narrow. Thanks!

lisalmt57 @chip2000 Hi--the top of the boot circumference is 16 inches and the ankle is 10 inches. The shaft, from instep to the loops at the top measures 22 inches. My calves are 14 inches at the widest part, and these are not tight on me, nor baggy.
