Hi! My name is Rachael ☀️ I live in Colorado on a little homestead with my 4 dogs, dozens of chickens and one VERY fat cat. I’m a Medical Laboratory Scientist and I work hard so my pets can live their best life! 🤣 My hobbies include archery hunting, gardening, thrifting and dressing up my chickens for photos ❤️🐣 Some of my favorite brands are Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch and Anthropologie. fatoldmotherhen @njgrl54 oh goodness! I have a lot of different breeds for egg laying, but I really like the silkies, show-girl silkies, bantam cochins... anything little, fuzzy with boots I can’t resist!! I love your alpacas!!! I would love to keep some in the future!

njgrl54 They are cute. I had chickens many years ago. I’d love to have them now but my husband doesn’t want any more animals to take care of. I wouldn’t mind. I’ve seen the silkies at shows. They are cute. So they aren’t egg layers? When you’re ready to get alpacas, let me know. I have some really nice boys. Inexpensive too.

fatoldmotherhen @njgrl54 Yes silkies don’t lay very many eggs.. the black one with the white bow in my photos has laid two eggs her entire life 🤣 Yes I will keep in touch for alpacas in the future! We really don’t live that far away from each other either! My husband is a fire fighter in Lakewood so we are often in your general area and are looking to move closer to his station within the next year or so ❤️ I have a lot to learn about alpacas but it’s an endeavor I’ve wanted to take on for years now - so YOLO!!

yellowbirdsings I was in Belt Montana all last week and drove straight through to Estes Park Saturday then straight back to NC last night by way of Lincoln, NB to pick up our baby small munsterlander. I hadn't been to CO in decades. Still beautiful. You are lucky. Do you have any lavender chickens? I so want two for my garden!
