reluxeing @elizdelong Thank you for the PSA! Hermès does, however, put plastic on the hardware to prevent scratching the plated gold. This is an authentic bag. I could loose my opportunity to sell on Poshmark if it wasn’t, and I wouldn’t risk that. Also, if you have further doubts, check my ratings and comments on the other authentic items I’ve sold. reluxeing @elizdelong Then I’m so glad you’re asking, because other people probably don’t know either. They use cloth and plastic stickers that are cut to perfectly fit on the hardware. The brushed Gold is so delicate and can scratch in transport or even just when someone is trying out the bag in the store. It’s meant to protect that feature until the bag finds a home.

reluxeing @elizdelong Ohhh! Yes- you are correct about that! They do not come wrapped in any kind of plastic. That’s a tall tale sign. There’s only plastic on the hardware - if it’s in pristine, never used, new condition. I’m so happy we were able to clarify that!
