diana89 I bought all three here on poshmark. 2 of them were fake. I was looking everywhere for places that would talk about fake lash boosts but didn’t find many. So I hope this will help you out 1. The box isn’t purse silver. It’s more of a bronze. So if you lash boost outter tube is silver. Most like it’s fake 2. The side Stamp is black not silver. My pictures shows two fake ones. One eight with a silver stamp and the other with no stamp what so ever

diana89 what so ever 3. The paper instruction should be solid heavy white paper. And never see through 4. The bottle should have a big gap between the cap and the bottle 5. The os of the boost should be rounder not skinny

diana89 6. The brush is pointy not flat 7. The Tube shouldn’t smell like plastic 8. The r&f on the tubes lid should be clear specially the r. Never faded like the pictures show 9. The tube should feel “heavy” not light 10. Also if the seller is selling multiples for really cheap, most likely they are all fake

diana89 @mpainter15 I’m sorry to hear that. If it’s not too late Don’t accept the order and submit an issue. If you already accepted the order, send poshmark a message explaining the situation. They do exceptions at times specially if it’s a fake item. It’s not guaranteed but worth trying.

samplemomof3 I definitely bought a fake. Brand new, unopened for $45. Just had no idea what they should go for, when I purchased. It should be arriving today. Can I get my money back if I don’t accept and state it’s fraudulent? I’ve never not accepted an item so I don’t know how the process works. Thanks for the info on identifying the fakes!

diana89 @samplemomof3 hi. Yes off course as soon as you get the item open it and look for the signs that look fake like the pictures I posted. Take pictures. Don’t accept the order. Below the “accept” option there’s a submit an issue option, tap on that. And there’s an option for fake items. Put the pictures and explanation why it’s fake. Poshmark is really good and should reply within 24 hours.

samplemomof3 @diana89 Thank you!! I went to click on the order in my “My purchases” tab, and when I clicked on it - it had been removed and the listing could not be found! I was shocked. I thought you couldn’t edit a listing after someone had purchased the item. No idea how they were able to! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thanks again!

diana89 @samplemomof3 the lady that sold one of the fakes to me did the same thing. I think they block you that’s why you can no longer see the listing. Because you’re right, you can’t delete a listing

oliviakawa Help. I purchased one from poshmark for 25$ after purchasing one from the Rodan + fields website. One has the R stamped not perfectly but there is no gap on the lid, dull silver on box but black code. The other has a solid r+f stamp shiny silver on box black code that I am 90% certain is the authentic one but has a gap between the lid. I’m worried I got them mixed up. Any help you could give would be great. Thanks

oliviakawa Now that I’m examining them the second one is 95% the authentic. The box is in much better condition and the RF is crystal clear. So the box can be silver and have a gap in between the lid. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have also been blocked by the person who sold to me.

evaleen11 Thank you for posting! I def was scammed but unfortunately didn’t realize until after I accepted. I’ve opened a case with PM but I doubt they will do anything as it’s past the deadline. Has anyone else had this happen? Will PM refund anything? It’s not a ton of money but that’s not the point! The people who are selling these fakes are harming people!! Something needs to be done!

blizziger_2 @hrtsmom I'm not sure if I can tell if one is fake or not. When I was warning people it was because the same person made at least 6 other closets. They do that knowing that some of their closets will be shut down due to selling counterfeit items. They use "bots" to make it appear that the closets are made by different people. If it is from one of the closets by the one person I would know but beyond that I wouldn't.

Her results were amazing and I had none. I then "liked" a bunch of lashboost listings that looked suspiciously from the same person...they ALL offered me a 16% discount. That's pretty sketchy!

ninetyonedays Nanycoban229 sells fakes. No trademark on the packaging, serum smells fruity and the serial number is not correct. The box is also very lightweight and cheap. Not to mention that the only thing that she has sold is RD lash boost. If you look at all of her pictures of her invoices they all have the same exact date of purchase 10/2019. Scammer and a liar. Not authentic.

sonshine1411 @diana89 I THINK I just bought a fake one, but it's even closer to the real one than the photos you have. The insert is regular paper, the top of the cylinder container is silver and the number printed on the container is also not as bold as the original. It has the pointed brush, no gap in the lid, and the embossing on the lid of the actual product is clean. I absolutely cannot tell.

brooksie2027 I just checked one I had bought and yep it was a fake. I was able to compare it to a real one I had on hand. Thanks for posting. I will definitely say the smell of the serum is different too. The fake has a sweeter smell and doesn’t sting my eyes and the real us more of a medical like smell and will sting my eyes a little if I get it in one.

lynnewinston I got one from lqhtzb13 and not sure if it's real or not. The stamp on top is a little bigger than the one I purchased from R&F, the trademark symbol is placed slightly differently, and the brush applicator is a little longer. Afraid to out something on my eyes that's not real. And there's no sticker on the bottom. Can you tell if I send you a picture?

dianesugarhill Within hours of application I developed a bad headache which would not go away, taking Tylenol not helping. On day 2 I still have the headache but also loud ringing in both ears and blurred vision. I am now using cold packs on my forehead which has helped. I Purchased from boboaden3.

The person who sold me one of these fakes had a return address out in the middle of no where ( it was a piece of land out in Alaska). I had to google it because usps sent the package back to my house. Poshmark always seems to side with the seller so they refunded me back no issues.

dianesugarhill @diana89 I got sick after using the fakes for 2 days….for 48 hours I had a throbbing headache, loud ringing in my ears and blurry vision. Tylenol didn’t help and finally I put ice packs on my forehead and took moreTylenol, the ice packs helped a lot. These symptoms started on the second day. I’m better today. Poshmark gave me a refund.
