Another posher said these scammers set up multiple accounts and somehow try to but I am Not sure how steal your funds. Right after you list items they want you to email them with no intention of purchasing just stealing. I have not had any thefts but many others have and the best thing is not to respond and report them to Poshmark.

@mkandmore Yes, it is a scam, they send you a cashiers check with some big amount to ship item. My husband got check in the mail for $600 Craig’s List item, check was $1800. We had checked with bank prior to checks arrival. Bank said they have you cash check, you get your money and then someone arranges for shipping so you pay them AND THE CHECK GETS RETURNED maybe a month or 2 later and you have to cover check funds. Big time Scam! I’ll need to check into how to report! Thank you!

@mkandmore Ha! I got a C check for $2760 for the dresses, no they did not cost that much!!! I had texted them and told them I would not accept a C check but would a money order. Never heard from them until got this check Saturday!!!! Definite scam!! I’m getting quite a few with my wedding dresses! I now just respond purchase on Poshmark. I hope other serious buyers don’t see that and think I am a Scrooge!!!

Up at the right hand side there are three little dots and you can go into their page and report the user. Seriously these idiots need to get a real job! This site is the very worst. They have a lot of scammers and a lot of sellers that sell cheap knockoffs. You can report and report until you are blue in the face and nothing. Even if somebody returns an item because it is fake they allow the fake item to be delisted.

Resisted not delisted. Also they ask people to help them decide if items are fake! Really! I have told them to hire qualified people to determine but to no avail! They also allow sellers to never communicate to the buyers that they have no intention of ever responding or sending the purchased item. I have had sooo many problems with this issue. Sooo irritating and then wait a long* time for a refund.

That same seller just keeps on showing they are active but are never forced to do something or close their page. These people charge twenty per cent and have the very worst and I mean worst customer service. Never have I ever gotten anything but a canned response from them and guaranteed never get a direct response. I sell little,list very little and buy more than I sell so I stay on here. Your items are beautiful though so I hope you can get so e honest buyers.
