@rubysunsmercant Yay! That makes me so happy to hear. I had so much fun chatting with you last weekend. When I came home I told my husband about my dating app vs selling platform name mixup... It gave him a good laugh too 😂

I dont have home goods in my closet. Is it ok if I bring a fashion accessory?
Oct 22Reply

moderngal
@salbolland The home item doesn't have to be listed in your closet. It can be something you have in your house and are willing to trade for the fun game of it. Example unused candles, unused Holiday themed things like wrapping paper/ ribbon, or even something vintage is okay as long as it is in very good condition and free of odors

@salbolland I havent decided mine. I may do like a few Holiday ornaments that are in new/like new condition

@moderngal I remembered I have a gift drawer .... I shall rummage through that.... I have some neat things in there, I believe...

@salbolland So funny, we all have a stash like that I think. Carrie asked what I was going to bring. I told her it's a secret haha. But also I don't have a for sure answer yet. I know when I go to look, I'll find so many random directions I can go lol

@rubysunsmercant Hi! Before I keep forgetting... will you bring one of the produce bags you use for packaging/shipping to the PNS Sat? And any other special supplies you love to use for packaging. Since people always ask about shipping, we are planning time to share ideas.

Are the swap items to be wrapped or just as is?
Nov 09Reply

moderngal
@rubysunsmercant No need to wrap. If you want to put in bag or box for ease of transport, that works. Especially if the box was good for shipping - it would be a bonus gift lol

@taraforbeauty 👋 thanks for visiting and saying hi! Up here in WA we still have stricter social distancing, so we haven't been able to get together for a while 😥 But prior to covid, we had monthly or even bi-monthly events. It's been really cool meeting so many Poshers in the area. I've made some really amazing friendships. I wonder if maybe after things go back to "normal", you may be able to find an event in your area 🤔

@taraforbeauty Or maybe you could host an event? My friend Carrie held the 1st one in our area a couple yrs ago. She booked a banquet table at a local restaurant and started inviting active Poshers from our area. A few of us from that event decided it was so much fun, we started taking turns hosting them. Some events we had 25+ people, other times just 5-6 of us.

@moderngal that’s awesome!! And you just get together for dinner and stuff?! Do you do sales and raffles?!
Apr 01Reply

moderngal
@taraforbeauty Yes sometimes dinner at a restaurant, we've done coffee shops that have enough space, lunch or happy hour at sports bars/breweries. We've used space at the local library where we could bring in coffee and snacks to a private room.

@taraforbeauty We've also had more activity based events like meet up at a goodwill outlet/the bins, goat yoga... we had to cancel our upcycle tie dye event right when covid started. I didn't attend it, but a couple people near us held one where everyone made vision boards.

@taraforbeauty "Easiest" ones to plan are at a restaurant. Mexican, pizza and Asian restaurants seem to be pretty easy bc they often have tables for large parties and are used to it. By far, the ones we have sold tickets for on Eventbrite have been the most successful. We use the money for swag bags and raffles etc. We did one where we gave everyone a "drink ticket" for one happy hour beverage, soda or a milkshake. That was fun but had some drawbacks...
