@pinkjean I actually don’t! I use Sketchbook on my Samsung touchscreen laptop 🤗 One day I’d love to learn photoshop tho! I feel like I make my art in an old fashioned type way even though it’s made on the computer haha! Are you familiar with photoshop?

@labohemeophelia oh, ok. I don’t use photoshop but my husband does so I know the “magic” capabilities it has. I’m more familiar with Abobe Illustrator but I haven’t tried painting with it yet. Still life is fun. That was my first one (besides the oversized apples). I really want to move towards realism. I like how your art touches realism. Do you think it is the color choices that make it start to look real? I could use some tips. 😉

@pinkjean Oh that’s so cool, with him knowing a lot about it he’d be able to show you how to use it. That’s always a plus! See, I’m wanting to learn photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, I haven’t tried either of those yet, but I’m curious what I could come up with if I did!

@pinkjean but I’d absolutely love if someone came to me with a really big grand idea they had and asked me to make it for them haha I’m super imaginative, so I’d love a project that really uses your imagination. YES! Color is everything! I study color pallets and texture all the time, I’d say go on Pinterest and look around for inspiration. You’d be surprised how much you can learn about colors on there!!

@labohemeophelia I’m on Pinterest all the time for inspiration. My boards are under “Kellyesque”. I just started a board for color palettes. I’ll have to look at YouTube for some realism tutorials.

@pinkjean Oh I’ll have to take a look at your Pinterest! I love using soft and more muted color palettes myself, I never go for anything to bright. That’s a great goal to have 😍 I really love painting eyes when I’m painting faces, that’s my favorite bit.
I would love to do a very large piece where it’s loads of people in the painting, at an event or walking through a town, so there’s a lot to look at!

@thuythid All of my work is painted digitally by hand, and printed on thick professional paper. 11x14 and 16x20 are my most popular sizes! But we can do whatever size you’d like. I can also print the painting on canvas as well if you’d want that.
