michieoh @lindasutton659 no it’s ok in that area - it is coat from the 80’s, has been kept in air conditioning but surely the fur can use some TLC- the lining is perfect - the reason it tore was turning the sleeve “inside out” as someone wanted to try wearing it inside out- LOL It really hasn’t been worn since the 90’s- was one of my Mother’s many coats.

mermadesales happened to come from another place and saw this listing.. I work with a furrier and that kind of a rip isn't a simple stitch. you'd need to find matching fur to put in there possibly. could cost you 100 USD or more. As someone else mentioned, have to check softness of leather pelts inside.. the fur can always be cleaned but leather pelts tell the true condition.

michieoh @janay_stith it is a full length coat. It is real fur with a beautiful lining. A scene in the photo you need to repair the arm. There are slight tears which are easily fixed which is the reason I drastically reduced the price

michieoh @mermadesales it can be stitched or glued back together. I already checked on it and yes, about $100 unless you know a seamstress that can fix it for less.

shoemakerr @michieoh hi just happened to come across this beautiful coat and very sad to see the condition. I am a furrier and I would strongly suggest to whoever buys this coat to take to a real furrier for repairs, not a seamstress or a Taylor. We have different equipment for repairing fur and never use glue. Very important that pelts can’t be sawed if too dry. Hope it can be repaired because it’s a beauty!

michieoh @janay_stith hi I just received a message from Poshmark and they authenticated the coat that it is real. they mentioned something about the size not being right, but the size is correct. It was custom-made.

michieoh @janay_stith yes this was a custom coat for my mother and I don't know what they were talking about with sizing but yes, I have it listed as a size 10 and I personally can fit in it and I'm a size 12 and of course if you're lower than a 10, you can certainly fit in it
