@mel2ros I measured the coat flat from the mid area of the pockets (cost zipped ). 20” across and it get a little wider below that to 22” it is more of a straight cut vs a swing style coat. Hope this helps

@paovillo well I am from the south and would think for a NYC winter you would want something much thicker and warmer but really just depends on how much outdoor exposure you would plan on
