I just learned that I am 77% on my way to becoming an ambassador, which sounds exciting but I don't know what that means, exactly! 😂Is it like being a diplomat? reesbrown56 @eastsidesusan my decision was to Not accept the status. Read the Rules you must follow. I hate RULES...stupid ones anyway. Even though I run my closet by their rules I don't want "Big Brother" judging me 24/7. I guess I am a non conformist 😉Read through the rules when you have extra time😂Also, it seemed to me that the Posh Ambassadors acted as if the Honor meant they knew everything now.

reesbrown56 Over half my PFF'S are PA and they are Good People. That was my decision. You may want to join up because that structure works for you. When we're new it's validation of the idea that we must be doing it well. With experience it doesn't divide Closets nearly as much. I get attitude from new Poshers at times when I am shopping and I think if it showed I had PA status there might be more respect🧐😂

eastsidesusan @reesbrown56 Jeanne, you are my maverick PFF & I adore you for it! I have gotten some good advice from ambassadors & some bad/wrong advice, too. Apparently there are no experts here, which is fine but, jeez. I’m with you re: arbitrary rules (although my closet is 100% PM compliant, I think it just worked out that way😉) And while I am helpful by nature, and kind, I will never rah rah drink the Kool Aid. 🤮 I yam what I yam, ya know? 😉😘

eastsidesusan @reesbrown56 Just a note about your comment regarding PA = respect. While I suspect you might be right in some cases it doesn’t wash with me. There is sometimes a self-serving, suck up element to it that I find extremely distasteful. Plus, zero respect for titles of any kind on my end, One’s actions/words determine my assessment of a person. (You can imagine that did not go over well with the nuns in charge of my education for 12 years! 🤣🤣)

calidreamin101 @reesbrown56 hi aid just happened upon this as I was going to say I love ur signs🥰✌ also, I hear from my PFF's youngsters=sass so ur not alone on manners, and I get asked to help determine if flagged items meet the flag ie is this item fake, or illegal etc so "big brother" is there PMA or no😅🤪😭 anyone can flag ie report it, they ask the community to help verify I hope that helps a little🎏🎎🎏🎎🎏✌ Happy Poshing!

dapurseplace @eastsidesusan I AGREE 💯- it’s JUST like the eBay “forum pros” - they have become so condescending and just plain rude and mean to anyone who is “under” them and even get catty and cliquey- I’m so happy I found this - I was super stressing on getting my ambassador thing but only because I figured I’d get better search placement- but I’m not into fake anything and I’m gonna do me how I do me (I’d prolly get into a fight at a posh 🎈party thing anyway 🎉 lol 😝

reesbrown56 @dapurseplace I can explain Search placement to you but it doesn't have anything to do with PA. I have managed to get in with the big PA Closets by being Social and no longer keep up with all the Shares. I belong to Share Groups and do Share Events because it's a good way to learn what sells @ what prices. I have learned so much from Sharing.

dapurseplace @reesbrown56 wow 😳 ok THANK YOU 🙏 for the info!! I KNEW there had to be some other way than I’ve been doing it (just re-sharing when someone has shared my item - but it seemed odd to wind up sharing their socks and used shoe collection when we are designer handbag sellers and should be sharing similar items more often (tho I do help new poshers and don’t mind sharing their listings no matter what they are selling!). I’ll take posh over eBay any day!
