@rsavelle525 I am sitting down to look to see where the flowers are missing . The dress is beautiful. Did they fall off on their own or are they that fragile ? My daughter is getting married in New Orleans in 22’ and I am looking for a rehearsal dinner dress .

@jhumbert16 My mom wore the same dress in a different size to my wedding last year, it is a gorgeous dress especially for the mother of the bride! When trying on this dress, the beads were somehow snagged so the company would not accept the return. My mom needed a size 2 which also had to be altered for a better fit, so the seamstress took the beads she needed from the damaged spot on this size 6 to perfect her alterations. That is why the only missing beads are from the same area of the dress.

@rsavelle525 I am at work and I saw that it was ordered . I do not know how that happened I never went through the steps to order the dress or even make an offer . I was just sitting here teaching 4 th grade and saw the email come though. I was looking at the dress and considering making an offer and before making an offer asking measurements .

I am so sorry this happened.. I might still be interested in the dress but I definitely withdrew have to know measurements and I definitely can’t pay $ 550 especially when there is damage ( not your fault I realize how those beaded dresses are ) I still have a racing heart that the accidental purchase happened at all .

Has dress been worn? Has it been altered (with exception of removal of beading indicated in post) like by hemming or adjusting seams, etc.? Is it obvious that beads are missing or would it not be noticeable if a seamstress tacked down the loose threads? Why weren't extra beads used to repair other dress rather than removing beads from this dress? Any other damage to dress? Is it it excessively wrinkled? Does it have an odor (from smoking, pet, second-hand store, etc.)? Thank you!

@gaillouisecamp The dress has never been worn, it has not been altered, and it has been stored in its original packaging in my house free of any odors. As you can see in the photos, I wouldn’t say the missing beads are obvious at first glance.

@gaillouisecamp A bead was snagged when trying on the dress, and the dress did not fit, but Marchesa would not accept a return. A new dress was purchased but needed to be altered, so a seamstress unfortunately used the beads from the front of this dress to repair the other dress.
