lcataustin @aretaw it does. I do not know the weight. I can try to find out from a jeweler this week. It was a custom purchase for my mother out of Boone, North Carolina. A store called The Stone.

lcataustin @lynbyk odd question-the ring is exquisite in person. I have a friend who just purchased an emerald ring and the stone, even according to the jeweler she purchased from-cannot touch this one. I know how much her ring was-so I decided this price point. Thanks.

lynbyk @lcataustin Odd question? Why would anyone buy a ring that you have no appraisal on, have no clue the original cost & have no clue of the value. I wanted an emerald but I’m not going to pay for a price that is pulled out of thin air. The Stone jewelers is still in business & you could go & get it checked out for value. It’s only 90 miles from you. Then you have a verified value.

lcataustin @lynbyk you are correct it is and I assure you the people in this area have a lot going on right now. I am still in North Carolina. If you do not like a price of something-do not look at it. Values come from many things. I lost my mother rather recently and there are reasons I price things certain ways. I love this ring and do not wear it enough. However, there is a certain value to me in it. You never know what is going on in someone’s life-

lcataustin @sophiesmom1007 okay. Several factors. Other appraisals on emeralds in my possession-but mainly-my mother died. It was her ring and the intrinsic value to me is now much greater. I do not understand why it is a problem if a value changes to the person. I always follow the adage be kind-you do not know what is going on in another’s life.
