pessickmga @christenad74 - it is a “faux” velvet. It is not as soft as a velour. It has more of a stiffness than velour. It has a plush feel. I hope that helps

christenad74 @pessickmga It does help. Does it feel like velvet or a little rough, and the stiffness TV at you make mention. Is it like the purse I general is stuff by the inside material? And does it have an inside zipper?

christenad74 @pessickmga OMG, please disregard that text. So many typos. I missed the plush feel so it is soft in that regard. I’m just a little lost with the stiffness so wondering if it’s the makeup up the purse in general. Like does it feel like “cardboard” stiff within the lining or a loose feel, if that makes sense?

pessickmga @christenad74 - not as stiff as a padded bra cup - it hold its shape but it is foldable. No zipper just the snap. It is not cardboard form like a an under-the-arm clutch purse. If you placed it on a table it would collapse like a hobo style bag.
