szeebs isn’t it also rude to buy something for $180 and then turn around and sell it on here for $360?* 🤔 you go on and on about someone trying to save money - this post is extremely tacky and insulting to buyers by the way - when you are doing something I consider and many people would consider worse by selling something at a 100% markup. *Sonia G brush holder

And get to know someone instead of judging what you think is happening. This post was shared to me I thought it was more funny than a rule

I started here for fun, but After saving children’s lives from heart defects to cancer for 23 years & I lost my career 2 years ago when a surgeon didn’t have such a good day and 2 months ago I didn’t think I was going to walk again. Instead of judging, just message under the listings and ask a question.It says message me. That is so if someone was interested in it then “message me” I did not want to give one of my two up just to make 20$ and even listed at $250 I would make 2.05?

szeebs @jennimac222 I understand that low offers are annoying to sellers, but if someone can’t pay the asking price they may just be interested and hoping for a deal. Instead of being insulted as a buyer I think it makes more sense to be happy that there is interest, and just decline or counteroffer. I think buyers often take low offers as a personal insult when that is not the intention.

jennimac222 @szeebs This is for non poshers and I don’t share this Its up because a buyer was insulting under a listing that I had put up for a friend to see. trust me this doesn’t stop them. My friends got my 2 extra ones so my friends saw it & every dollar counts when u pay medical bills, kids college tuition & food. Im sure u haven’t seen what buyers do -we all something for less but they are mad when I cant. I have literally put the paid price on a sold out item and had people offer me HALF ?

szeebs @jennimac222 I know this is your business and your livelihood. My point is only that a low offer should not be taken as a personal insult to a seller and is most likely only due to the buyer not having enough money to enjoy items they want due to their own circumstances and/or poverty. Their offer shows that they like the item you are selling and that is a good thing for a seller.
