I traded Gucci5940/(xx_riley omg she changed her username now ) several fll dresses for Gucci belts that were fake. She’s now selling my merchandise instead of trading me back she’s ignoring my texts and reposting all my trades. Sent over 1000 dollars worth of merchandise trusting her trades. She takes pics of her real things and mails fakes out. Pictured is one of the belts she sent me- logo is off the hardware doesn’t match and the box is not the beautiful Gucci box

11752I am so sorry this has happened to you! It getting a bit ridiculous! I pray you get your things back. Posh is getting really big these days often adding many very dishonest people! I sure hate that! I would stress to people to do their due diligence when trading! I am so sorry you are having to deal with this

jonadel@glamourgurl7 thank you babe for sharing with your followers ❤️

Feb 17Reply

glamourgurl7@jonadel your welcome I was just trying to trade with her too I’m glad I saw this

Feb 17Reply

coco1158Watch out. They will suspend acct. We can't put scammers, oh boy, your a magnet, so sorry

Feb 17Reply

rlcamejoGirls, girls, girls!!!!! When a posher has multiple of the same belt for sale, including other styles, please ask them to authenticate the item and show you the proof! Ir authenticate it yourself before trading. It costs only $10 to authenticate!! It’s worth losing $10 rather than thousandths! These belts retail $650 and upwards... Gucci belts and jewelry are so highly replicated!

Feb 17Reply

rlcamejoCan’t stress how important it is to authenticate items before trading!!! The most experienced poshers/traders fall for these items! Don’t do it unless you have a legit third party authenticator (expert) check!!! I’m very sorry this happened to you but that is an obvious replica! The little metal part should be bronze and the font is way off along with stitching!

Feb 17Reply

rlcamejoShe’s also tried trading with me and the multiple belts in her closet alone were a RED flag for me!

Feb 17Reply

coco1158I begged and remained nice to get my things back. Doesn't work. It's her sin. I only deal with certain people. I know the frustration it lasts a while. I say that's the wprse

Feb 17Reply

rlcamejoThese replica belts cost $64.99. These thieves buy them in bulk and sell them at 10X their cost as authentic! This goes for all the Gucci jewelry, Chanel jewelry, Dior jewelry, etc... I see seasoned poshers selling and trading closets full of these items and others fall for it! Be BERY careful!!! Not all poshers are nice and will do the right thing and return your items! Authenticate, Authenticate, Authenticate your items!!!😉

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@luxuryycloset 💯 agree with you. This is getting so bad.

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86@coco1158 That's a pretty sophisticated scam. For somebody to swap out an authentic for a replica. It's pretty gutsy. file a police report in your town, and in her area. Some dispatchers will take a report and follow up with an officer from another county. file a crime report with the IC3 crime online report and mail fraud complaint at the USPS.com. They don't get away with it with reports made. It eventually catches up with them!

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86I don't know if I tagged the wrong person. I would also file a complaint with Poshmark that she is selling stolen merchandise. First file a crime report with your local authorities, then you'll have the merit with a case number and show Poshmark that she is selling stolen merchandise.

Feb 17Reply

mary2196@jonadel I am SO sorry this happened to you!🤦🏼‍♀️ I will report her!!! She wanted basically my whole closet for a “$30k Rolex. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I told her I need paperwork, more pics of the watch, etc,. She kept saying she would post the necessary proof, but never did. I reported her several times but Posh never responded🤦🏼‍♀️

Feb 17Reply

rlcamejo@mary2196 yes! She had a Rolex she wanted to trade too and claimed her ex gave it to her and she no longer wanted it.... but could not provide any documentation re authenticity. 🤬🤬 she wanted to trade it for two bags... another red flag!!! A Rolex for 2 ($2k) bags?!?! 😂😂

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86@mary2196 Good for you! I'm glad that you reported her suspicious behavior. Scammers are taking full advantage of the fact Posh doesn't cover trades. We can report suspicious behavior and report theft listings. Their policies clearly state that they do not allow stolen merchandise to be sold on their platform. That could be a way to get rid of the scammers and prevent crime. If you have a case number, they do take it down. I've done that

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86@rlcamejo Wow she's a terrible hustler scammer! Who would really give their 30k watch away in a trade?

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86When I went to her closet, I didn't see any listings above $500. Did anyone else see listings for $500 and up?

Feb 17Reply

dutchessxoxo@jonadel what is going on here???? All this scamming lately! I dont even want to trade anymore. I am so sorry this happened to you. I blocked her and reported a bunch of suspect stuff in her closet

Feb 17Reply

dutchessxoxo@rlcamejo not even 64.99. Try 24.99. And all they have to do is sell them below 500 to get away with it. smdh

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86@dutchessxoxo I am so glad! I guess I did see a purse for over 500 but it's not a lot of items over 500.

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@luxuryycloset me too. We all have to be extra careful. 😳💕

Feb 17Reply

dutchessxoxo@ambarabella86 that's often a red flag for me. a closet full of stuff priced over 500 but sold for under 500. There was one yesterday. High priced items but basically everything sold for under 500. There are a lot of new Poshers that actually think they are getting good deals.

Feb 17Reply

ambarabella86@dutchessxoxo 100% agree! That is so sad that this criminal is taking advantage of people. Her closet definitely a suspect! Especially offering $30,000 watch for trades only! What a horrible person to scam nice people!

Feb 17Reply

batoul24@jonadel I will report her too so sorry this happened to you

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@luxuryycloset i am trying to do the same unless they ship first. 💋

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@jonadel I will report that person hun

Feb 17Reply

dutchessxoxo@ambarabella86 ikr?? I keep reporting it. That's all I can do

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@glamourgurl7 thanks hun for tagging us 💜💜💜

Feb 17Reply

glamourgurl7@stacywhite01 anytime love

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@luxuryycloset you know, I don’t think she thinks that way. She knows exactly what she’s doing otherwise she wouldn’t have done all this. Karma will get her and all the people like her.

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@glamourgurl7 ❤️❤️❤️

Feb 17Reply

stacywhite01@luxuryycloset people like her have no soul .

Feb 17Reply

mary2196@rlcamejo EXACTLY! The lengths these scammers are willing to go in order to own a genuine designer piece(s) Is unbelievable!!!😡😡😡🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Feb 17Reply

mary2196@ambarabella86 They DONT! And this is completely getting out of hand!!!!🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Let alone any protection for honest sellers.... besides the point. I agree with you on that- I’m going to start doing that!

Feb 17Reply

fccandles@glamourgurl7 wow... so ALL of these notices are getting a bit overwhelming 🥴 anyway you can post ALL of the ACTUAL scammers in one listing? If you don’t use the @ symbol then it should be good yes? It’s hard to read through all of these and determine who’s who 🤣 This one is obvious...

Feb 17Reply

glamourgurl7@fccandles that’s a great idea but in posh it will be flagged and we keep getting in trouble for making the listings so we made a Fbook group for us to be able to expose scammers it’s PFF TRADING

Feb 17Reply

fccandles@glamourgurl7 ahh... ok. I don’t use FB much but will definitely check it out. Fact is I trade w/ almost no one. I hate to believe that people are dishonest but damn 😳 and for sure for EVERYONE... if they aren’t 100% positive, get it authenticated 1st👍🏻 so easy and sooo worth 7-10. The truth is Posh authenticators are not always right. You always have such great info... that might be a great post😊 ty for what you’re doing in helping these ladies 🥰🥰
