cnfreed @witchblossom Got an update on your order. We have the blank 5X black shirt ordered from our shirt supplier and on its way here. But because of the holidats, shipping is still messed up, and everything is taking extra long to ship. But we also still have several orders ahead of you. So it'll be a little while before we get to yours. And black shirts take twice as long to do, requiring a white base coat and extra drying time. That's why they cost more.

cnfreed @witchblossom I just canceled your order, and others, because I've got a sudden health problem come up that has put a hold on my ability to get orders done for a few days, until I can get it checked out, and get to feeling up to going back to work on orders. Hopefully, just a couple of days. I will keep you posted on this, and if you will still want the shirt, you can repurchase it.

cnfreed @witchblossom I'm back, finally. Finally feeling a lot more like my old self. I'm sitting here, cleaning my airbrush and paints, in preparation to go back to work on things, tomorrow. Got my Posh site back off vacation hold. Thought I'd check to see if you'd still like to get the shirt. I'll understand if you don't. But please let me know either way.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 A quick update on your order. It turned out the grey XL I thought I had turned out to be only a Large. So I ordered an XL for you, and it just came in. So I should be getting to it over the weekend, and out on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll keep you posted when it goes out.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 I had your shirt almost done. Just the names and the blue background. But you might have heard on the national news CA got hit with a major storm over the weekend that hit everyone everywhere real hard. Over 5” rain in one day, heavy winds, trees down, rock slides, major flooding, you name it. Including us. We got flooded in my work room.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 Our street is on a hill, so the water from up the street ran into our back yard and pool, flooding it, and into the lower half of our split level house, even though we put up sandbags. Went right over them, freaking out our cats, who, in turn, scrambled to get up on things, out of the water, and right into my desk where the shirts I was working on were laying.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 So, your shirt, and 3 others got ruined. Cute little muddy paw prints all over them. Ugh. So we’ve been cleaning up since Monday, when the rain finally stopped, drying fans going, and cardboard boxes broken down flat all over the rug to walk on, and helps to absorb the water and dry the rug.

Was planning to get to it tomorrow, or over the weekend, along with redoing the other 3 that were also ruined, now that we’ve got things halfway back to some semblance of normal. Sorry for the extra delay, but can’t control the weather. We’ve been so dry for so long, now we’ve got too much too quick. Crazy. I’ll be letting you know what day your shirt goes out.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 No need to cancel. I already have another XL grey shirt set up to redo yours on. And I already got a new compressor to replace the one that had been on the rug and got wet. It’s up on a spare table, so it’s safe from the damp rug. Extra inventory boxes were up on big desk I keep everything on, so they’re fine, along with my paints and airbrushes, which I keep in a desk drawer.

cnfreed @conniehall_1948 So we’re doing good. Water didn’t get too deep. Just a few inches. So the legs of tables, desks, chairs, and the rug absorbed most of it. The main house is fine. It’s a split level, so only the large back room on the lower level that I use for a studio got flooded. The main house sits up a couple steps. It’s perfectly fine.

Otherwise, you’d hardly know anything had happened if it weren’t for the flattened cardboard boxes on the rug to absorb the excess water and help dry the rug. No storms coming till Wednesday, I think, and it’s just a little one. Just showers. But we need all we can get.

No more wildfires. So we have a clean up to do. But I don’t think anyone is complaining, too much, once they see how much it raised our reservoirs and snowpack.

I’ve marked it as shipped, and notified Posh it’s not tracking? Yet. They had a shipping deadline, which I think is today. Otherwise, they cancel the order on you. But i think it’s just the calm before the storm. Which actually gives me a chance to catch up on current orders before more come flooding in.
