Intaglio is the sister to Cameo. Cameos are carved so that the image stands out from the base. Intaglio is carved so that the image is cut into the base. Image 3 is actually of the back of the pendant since some people wear them that way as it gives the image a 3-D look. The gold tone twisted gold chain is 22" long. This is a reproduction piece but is still absolutely lovely.
