deborahsmyrl @celicarenee I absolutely understand! There are a lot of replicas/counterfeits out there. I accidentally bought a replica one time & was very upset when I got it because I knew immediately it was a counterfeit. It was very frustrating. That has actually happened to me 2 different times. It’s so unfortunate that people will do that - sell a counterfeit LV bag - just to make a few bucks.

deborahsmyrl @celicarenee Here’s something else interesting to know - Poshmark actually checks my bags from time to time for authenticity - which is fine with me of course, because my bags are all authentic. I’m actually glad to know that they do that because if they are checking mine that means they are checking up on other sellers too. It’s great that they do that. And they delete counterfeit listings. I definitely wouldn’t have lasted 5 years on Poshmark selling replicas.

deborahsmyrl @jlettieri1129 So I show a photo (in the listing) of every bag & wallet I sell.Checking for the date code stamp is primarily what Poshmark does to authenticate an item. Also, any bag purchased for $500 or more gets automatically gets sent to the Poshmark authentication department to ensure authenticity before going to the buyer. And with many (but not all) bags I have the receipt of purchase from the Louis Vuitton store so that also proves it’s authenticity.

deborahsmyrl @cheyna06 It depends ... one of the ways to prove the authenticity of an Louis Vuitton bag is the LV date code stamp. I show a photo of the LV date code stamp in every single one of my listings. Then, if the item is over $500 Poshmark also authenticates it. Sometimes I get the receipt with the bag (from when it was purchased at the Louis Vuitton store). Sometimes they come with an authenticity certificate from LV or ...

rpkinchen I've been looking for a LV. So many bags on PM are very expensive. Yours look much better than majority & after reading the comments on several of your listings, looks like you're the real deal & can be trusted. I'm jc, why some of these sellers list the same (or similar) bags but are listed for 3 or 4x as much as yours? I haven't purchased a bag on PM, but did get scammed buying a "authentic sterling silver 925" ring. Paid $87 & within 1 week it was turning & obvious that it wasn't ss.

deborahsmyrl @rpkinchen So sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your kind words. I have been selling designer items - mostly Louis Vuitton - for 7 years now on Poshmark. I do keep my prices as low as absolutely possible because they sell a lot faster that way. And as far as authenticity, I show a photo in the listing of the LV date code stamp for every item I sell, which proves its authenticity. Also, anything on Poshmark that sells over $500 gets sent first to the Poshmark offices ...

I shipped the bag the same day you purchased it so it is Poshmark that is making you wait so long. I do not know if they are short staffed or if if they just have so many bags to authenticate that it takes a long time. Sorry for the delay.
