dom1n1que12 @gainfollowers in your opinion is it better based on each pushers amount of time to just be in one super posher post? Clicking like 2-4K blues does take time, but for people active won’t we all eventually have the same top 1000 most recent followers from that game? Or you need other new followers to have enough blue to get SP?

gainfollowers @dom1n1que12 I'm not sure I 100% understand your question but .. So when you click on someone's followers it only shows you the last 1000 ppl who followed them. (so it's constantly changing) Poshers who actively follow alot usually will have the most New Blues, so when their name comes up or they're hitting a milestone they'll likely be the one in the SP position bcuz they have more Blues to offer the players & game as a whole

gainfollowers @dom1n1que12 than say a Posher who doesn't follow at all, only follows back or only follows during the games. Hope that makes sense. Once you've been playing for a bit, it no longer takes as much time to do the following. Unless someone is new, there normally won't be more than maybe 500-1000 New Blues to follow between all 4 featured poshers. lmk if u have other questions .. thanks Jillian

gainfollowers @shediditinheels Hi. I believe I got back to you already on this but just to make sure .. the 1st listing in this closet (wizard of oz) is our actual game. In order to be featured you sign up on that one by commenting Over the Rainbow or a fave Wizard of Oz quote. We feature in sign up order (aside from when we celebrate Posher milestones) So it can take a bit for your name to come up. All depends on the length of the list. Right now I believe it's about 2-3wks wait time. Thanks Jillian

oneinamillionjj @2good2toss Hi I know this is a super delayed response, but I was going thru our last listing & saw you'd asked a question that wasn't answered. You had been wondering about the group's of Posher names that said DO NOT COPY on the bottom. Those are poshers tag lists. They're usually made up of PFFs or ppl who requested they be added. Their purpose is to be notified of when someone is hosting a party, a new game or new game listing.

Usually ppl would put a listing up in their closet saying JOIN MY TAG LIST or DO YOU WANT TO BE NOTIFIED OF PARTIES or GAMES. And little by little ppl will see it & add their name .. so then let's say u were gonna host a party or u were having a 100k sale, you'd post a listing describing your sale & then copy & paste all the names that wanted to be tagged ..

oneinamillionjj @2good2toss alerting them of your sale. Then of those ppl, the ones who have tag lists would paste theirs there & more would be alerted. The reason they say do not copy is bcuz in the past, new or unknowing poshers decide they want to tag too & they add names from others tag lists instead of building their own - then suddenly all these poshers are being bombarded with tags they didn't want to be a part of.

oneinamillionjj @2good2toss With the updates to notifications it prob wouldn't be as big of deal anymore, but we haven't always been able to sort the likes, shares, comments etc . . it was just 1 looooong scroll for a longtime so if it was being crowded with stuff that didn't interest you, it was very annoying. lol My responses are always so long winded aren't they? I'm sry about that lol yikes .. but now you know & I prob covered every aspect 👍🤔🙃🤦

We're wasting time following is we can't buy or sell to them. We'd have more chances of sells if we followed people who can actually shop our closet and Poshmark makes more money too. I don't understand why we can see Canadian accounts if we can't do anything but follow them.

If we were a standard follow game that's in most closets we totally could do your suggestion of the 2 listings USA & Canada. But since we're not necessarily the kind where u "follow all the likers of this listing" type deal I'm not sure it would help?

If I notice, I don't follow them but most times I'm just hitting buttons so don't.

gainfollowers @mama_of_8 The SP comes from our signups & is chosen by the amount of blues (new followers) they have to offer the players. If you follow alot, you'll prob get to be a SP more than once .. if not then maybe not at all. It's all comes down to the basis of the game which is to "gain followers". We as part of the team each get a turn as SP from time to time as well if you were asking for yourself 😉

This is all personal preference, but some poshers put together a list of the friends & other poshers for the purpose of "tagging" or alerting them to different things like sales listings, parties or games.

gainfollowers @2ndchance_finds Hi .. so trades are not actually approved by posh nor against the rules. However they are also not backed by posh in the sense that if something were to go wrong, ur on ur own. They can't help u get ur items back. I have never traded but there are some that do & they usually keep some sort of log & ask the ppl they traded with to vouch for them that they did an honest, fair trade.

gainfollowers @2ndchance_finds Most of the time if u haven't traded much, the "senior" or experienced trader will just have u send ur items 1st. Its all just a verbal agreement, u set a listing to $3 and descrube in it the terms of the trade & u each buy the others $3 listing which includes a shipping label.

gainfollowers @2ndchance_finds I should correct that .. $3 is the minimum price that a listing can be set for & still sell & then there is of course the $7.49 shipping attached as well so even though it's a trade, it still costs around $10 to do. I would never accept a trade where the shipping isn't at least thru the site.

gainfollowers @2ndchance_finds I've seen poshers do it where they provide a picture of a post office receipt as proof of shipment but u never really know that the picture was for ur transaction & u end up with a box of something disgusting in exchange for your designer jeans or purse. If you have more questions about trading, maybe @faithoverfear07 could explain anything I haven't already above. I know she has traded alot but I'm unsure if she still actively does or if she only does with certain people.

faithoverfear07 @2ndchance_finds Hey I trade some not much and it’s usually with the same people I’ve traded with in the past. If you trade with someone who has never traded before you need to have them ship first when you get it look at it make sure it’s what you traded for them ship your end of trade. If your not sure about someone your trading with ask me I might or I might know someone who knows them. Watch out also a lot of dishonest traders here

Way back shipping was alot lower than now so it was kinda nice on the closet clear out days bcuz shipping would be reduced to $2.99 or $3.99. Plus they weren't required to collect sales tax either.

gainfollowers @jackie62785 Well 1 for sure benefit would be the evening Boutique party once per week. The items that were purchased from a wholesaler or directly from the brand could be shared into that party. Plus anyone thats been on posh for a little bit knows that items marked Boutique will be in fact brand new in pristine, giftable condition when they receive them bcuz they've never been out on a sales floor & handled by shoppers.

gainfollowers @jackie62785 The other boutique benefit is that u can shop the wholesale portal within posh, which is nice bcuz u dont need a resellers license or tax id to order like u do with some wholesale sites. Theres not much to the boutique accreditation either. If I remember right, its basically just a statement that you sign. Hope that helps! Jillian

jackie62785 I am here with yet another question, (this post is just so helpful)- Does anyone know... is it "against" Poshmark policy to ship without tracking. For example - say I wanted to send a fellow customer a follow up gift (for free) in a plain white envelope- (I've discussed it w/them) and they've willingly given me their address again to do so- is this somehow against rules or just "not supposed to be done" if that makes sense? I am trying to send something to a fellow posher in need.

abthursday @gainfollowers Hi Jillian & Kate, I was getting the same error yesterday and this was prior to doing anything on Posh. As soon as I opened the app, I received that error about “updating” my feed page and then again on my news feed. I don’t think it was just an issue with the gainfollowers closet. You likely already know this! 😀🤔🤗 Appreciate you both so much!

gainfollowers @abthursday Oh good to know that it likely wasn't to do with our acct. I know I had gotten some kind of error yesterday too about updating but it was short lived. Jillian p.s. Our game listing is temporarily invisible at the moment while it goes thru its daily waiting period 😞to be ok'd by posh 🤦 but is usually back after a few hrs. Sharing can be done from our story in the meantime tho 🤷😜

gainfollowers @shoppegigi Thank you but I'm not sure letters would help. If the game was being taken down for being against rules or something, Id say go ahead .. but I think its more about some kind of spam feature that we're somehow triggering. It is a pain when our listings are removed and/or go temp missing but they're always reinstated. I wish posh (or us) could figure out the issue so we could change whatever it is & go back to our smooth sailing. It'll happen eventually I'm sure. Thanks again Jillian

gainfollowers @deedeesmiles4u Yeah it's the same problem we've been running into for a little while now. Something about our account or listing triggers posh's spam filter so everytime we make a change or update a listing, it goes temp invisible until posh can verify we aren't doing anything wrong. Once they do, our listing is right back & all is fine (which is usually about 3-4 hrs)

gainfollowers @mswink1 Yeah it's been happening on & off for a few months now. It does usually come back within a few hrs but it's still annoying. In the meantime, what some do is share from our story. We've been posting there as well. If u click on gainfollowers profile pic from within our closet, our story should pop up with clickable links right to the closets. Hope that helps Jillian

Sometimes the listing can get a little glitchy & disappear after price is lowered so just click on their circle icon in the upper left of their closet. This auto takes you to their "Story". Scroll to the current date for clickable links of the featured closets. 💛

mswink1 @sourapplestore hi there, lol , yes Poshmark does that sometimes with this very large listing. It’s a known issue that @gainfollowers has addressed. But it’s only for a couple of hours then the post magically reappears. 🙌🏼🙌🏼Not to worry, this game isn’t going anywhere after 6+ years 😊😊

gainfollowers @mdsrds Sry about that. We've been having alot of problems the past few months with our listing disappearing for a few hrs each time it's updated. posh says they can't help so I've resorted to posting late night/early morning so that the listing is back during the time of the most player traffic. U can always find the daily closets in our story as well.

gainfollowers @sexychicshay I know .. its so annoying. No. Nothing is different at all. In fact from our end, we can't even tell its been taken down bcuz we can still see & edit it. Its only when someone tells us or we look from our personal accts that we know.

gainfollowers @sexychicshay For some reason our game acct is flagged so anytime we edit anything - it has to go into this limbo mode where outsiders can't see it until its been checked by posh & given the ok. Then it reappears & same cycle the next day & next ..Every once in awhile one of the posh workers will actually take it down altogether in which i email them, they end up reinstating the listing & say they will pass the info onto tech support but nothing ever gets resolved

gainfollowers @clothingcache Yeah sry bout that. We've been having issues for the past few months with our acct. We're flagged for some reason so everytime we edit, the listing disappears for a few hrs until posh checks it to make sure were not doing anything shady 🤦 Its really been a pain but when I tell posh they either say the listing is working fine or they'll pass the info onto tech support & nothing gets resolved.

oneinamillionjj @lechateaugris So sry for the extremely late response, but when you see a bunch of comments that say "tag list do not copy" That posher has put together a list of people (usually by sign up) that would like to be tagged for parties, sales or games. So the comments are alerting anyone tagged that we posted a new game listing.
