srg503504505 @kundaglow I cant say makers original intent for it but my husband's dad bought it a long time ago in Albuquerque at bell's post he had it in the man cave. my husband used it on his guitar. its ment to be mounted I'm assuming because of the nails it came with but your guess is as good as mine
