I have a question regarding this would you mind helping me by reviewing my closets @bossfemme19, @thevault19 and letting me know what Posh may be looking for in improving my closet so that I can actually get approved to host. I’d love to but unfortunately I’ve not heard anything the two times I’ve put in my application. I know they are busy and theres a ton of other poshers, but I put in my applications way back in the day... just trying to always be improving.

@thevault19 I will sometime this evening I know they are in fact looking at returns, cases how poshers are responding ...prohibited items as far as all undergarments must gave a tag womens boy shorts & boxers fall under this as well....which I did not know that....also perfumes! these are just a few that are excluding many people from hosting ....

@denimjunkies lol! I was thinking that. Are we talking a few weeks or a few months? Is it better to have an abundance of a certain item in our closet or is it really just based on number of aps and how many parties can be done over a period of time. Also, there were two different time frames during the day to request. Do you know if one time is easier to get into over the other? Does that make sense?

Hello Closet Fairy! Nice to see the advice on your page. Been looking for guidance since joining. Lots of things to sell, but most offers come from people who want to re-sell my items on here and they offer so low I am not sure how to even negotiate. I've been in sales over a decade and can't figure out a way to handle that politely....

@ivygems they are cracking down on poor responses from returns, or when a posher submits a case, undergarments without tags.. no womens boxers & boy SHORTS do count here, perfumes, they are also looking at your responce times for offers you never want to decline even when lowballed... always submit a counter offer.... & questions, as well as shipping timeframes... overall they are checking engagement....

I've been asked by PM to host a party. I just made ambassador recently.I signed up to do it but it wasn't very clear on what my responsibilities were. I'm not sure about doing it because all the women doing parties were young and tech friendly and I am neither. Do you have any recommendations? I share items from many closets everyday. I started PM in October of 2019.

@leesees_pieces oh honey its super easy as soon as the party starts anything you share to party will become a host puck thats all there is to it I usually place all my pick in my likes so I have them ready to go in time you may also select your pucks the morning of by sending each host pick a message before the party letting them know you selected their item

@leesees_pieces then you will only be left to share the item without the worry of the message as well otherwise you can notify first on the item listing you have selected and then share to party I always do mine the morning of just so I dont get stressed out fyi I am on sisters account at the moment to help explain as she wasnt sure how to answer

@_bonnieboutique I think I'm getting confused by two different kinds of parties. I would love to do the party that they have on a daily basis but they have asked me to be an affiliate and host parties. That's the thing I'm really afraid of doing because that is very time involving. I'm glad I've got that clarified in my head now. never knew how to become a host of one of the parties on the daily basis but now I do. Awesome.

@yulelvit we both take the first 4 hours each monday to go over the tips advice submitted to us we ourselves learn so much! once we have submitted the questions with confirmation of said info and to poshmark support and recieve confirmation we post them weekly!!! We both know there are many many gray areas and just wanted to make it easier for all poshers especially our newbs!!!!

That's an awesome, organized process. There always is an abundance to learn. To me a lot is common sense and good judgment combined with educating oneself with the policies. @uptowngirl69 hey you know what we are here to spread the word thats why we got permission for this closet... no we dont sell things we promote everyone including our sales, going on .... we want to help everyone grow being a host is that next step .... for a posh ambassador.... just need to be compliant and fill out a form that takes 1 minute your name, closet, must be a posh ambass thats it... being a host is alot of work and you will without hurt someones feeling but you do your best

I made $70K last year I was on target for doubling that this year until starting the adventure of this share the info... but a person shouldnt have to log off of this platform to learn how to succeed on this platform there were so many gray areas when sister started I hadnt even realised... so she started recording and putting in graphics for those things needed to succeed
