Beautiful vintage handmade pillow case. The case is dyed with embroidered images of flowers and a sweet young woman. The pillow case is trimmed in lovely tatting lace. Tatting is a technique for creating particularly durable lace from a series of knots. This is a priceless gem. The case measures approximately 16" in length by 12 1/2" in width. Some yellowing of the lace due to age. Please see detail in last 4 images. The fabric appears to be cotton and could even be linen. One of a kind.
