Blanket weight, longer cocoon type, please see photos, no real shoulder. Open front, looks like, if you lay it flat, it’s a rectangle that has arm openings so that the shoulders are indistinct

lamireille Hi! Is there a fabric tag, please? And it sounds like the shape is kind of hard to describe, but what are the approximate length and bust measurements, please? Thank you very much!

lsp1 @lamireille there is no fabric tag, it is hand knitted the basic shape is a square with the ends folded in to make arm holes, looks like a cocoon. It was made for my sister and she was 5’11” anywhere from a large to XXL

lamireille @lsp1 Wow, thanks for such a super-quick reply! I’m guessing the yarn is soft (it looks like it)—is that correct? And I’m sorry to be so dim but I’m still trying to imagine this… is it sort of like if you drape a blanket over your shoulders? Or like if you sewed the top two corners of a square to the bottom two corners? Or are the arms distinct like a cardigan? Sorry about all the questions!

lsp1 @lamireille the yarn is very soft. Imagine taking a blanket and taking 2 corners on each side and seaming them most of the way shut (allowing for your hand to go thru the opening left (about 6-8”), this forms almost a diamond shape if you lay it out flat (not quite because of the neck line). Does that help?
