fe_stepka @jessicawilso611 gold is an alloy, and the 10k, 14k, 18k means how much of that alloy is gold. 24k is pure gold. Pure gold is too soft so that's why it's mixed with other metals for jewelry. The color of the gold comes from the other metals in the alloy, in rose gold it is copper. 😊
