denimjunkies @grammynichols22 yes they have been hitting us since a list was published with our revenue, but our poshers arent leaving love notes for this REASON, we are sending out a little card with all our packages explaining everything and they are coming to us with the user name of the people who are approaching them, right after a sale one who are leaving notes happily await a poacher as they have been return customers of sisters for years

I am so sorry, let me just say this, posh is working on making not only love notes, without a user name where only you will be able to see, also your followers, your bundles, and your likers will soon become private, once this happens, that will all come to an end they were using bots, to target they block as to not share your listings in the future as their bot detects you as a competitor.... just STAY FOCUSED

erikasclosets @denimmunkies i think this is happening to me. i had a crash if 80% of sales in june agaibst previous month. i was baffled. so still confused. can you advise me who do i block? i have one posher continually bundling huge amounts offering pennies on dollar. i was doing well steadily inceeasing then complete crash-ola in june. my toggle for google search was also turned off not sure how that happened.

denimmunkies @erikasclosets when you are dealing with a constant lowballer and you have reached out, you might read the other blurb on lowballing and try that, but keep in mind if you have fairly priced items, and they just dont get that, save your sanity and use block, there is no reason to welcome the constant blood boiling lol but try the technique listed first.... I have alot of sales using that method

Originally, I joined PM in 2018 as a buyer only. Earlier this year I starting listing our items we don't wear anymore. I was just on here for fun. michele1084461 @denimcrush I’m a little confused about what “targeting” is. I just reviewed the “likes” that I have received. The majority of them were from different people. I did notice someone liked 6 of my items. I didn’t create a bundle for them. Should I have done that? I did just review her closet and she does have many of the same (luxury) shoe brands that I have listed. Does that mean that she is “targeting” me? I’m sorry, I think I’m just confused about how “targeting” works.

denimcrush @michele1084461 not always, some poshers like items in hopes you will share their items as you have the same style poshers, however its still really not a good practice as it sets the other person up thinking they have a possible buyer... again we dont waist the time of others sellers when we like an item we are liking for a possible host pick, or interest of actually purchasing

mindfulgemini Thank you for sharing this information. My sales had pretty much came to a stop. After, reading this I blocked (1st person ever) a person that seemed odd. He liked over 50 items and shared so much I couldn't keep up. (at the end of June) Said he definitely be back. Haven't heard from him since. After, blocking this person within 2 days my sales picked up. Thank you so much! I am so grateful! I can't wrap my mind around others doing this.

denimmunkies @lamblittle1 when you go to her page to the right of her follow there will be 3 dots select block user.... but I dont know that I would assume thats a target, as you want to just give it a little of time, however I cant stand when people like just so you will share their items and we do not share likers, we contact as a potential buyer, as this is just not a good practive, does she have like items?

I thanked her for all the shares and I shared back. No response. Then on June 24, only 1 item was in the bundle and the other 2 items were still liked

denimmunkies @lamblittle1 we dont share closets who like our items as the time it takes to send an offer for each like when the item is not one your interest, its sets presence of a possible sale... to the seller, We share back all the time for poshers whom share our items but arent going to like a bunch of things we arent interested as it just fills our feed up with junk ....

I'm still relatively new, only been selling my airbrushed shirts on here for about a year or so. I've had some occasions where someone will like several items, and I'll send them offers on them, but they never purchase. I just figured they hit the wrong button. I'm glad I read this.

lisamckin I had weird things that happened recently. Someone bought an item; I shipped it and saw on the shipping update that the address did not exist, luckily it came back. Then I had an item that sold and noticed it had a flaw; I contacted the buyer 3 times to tell her and even copied the listing and added pictures to show the flaw. No answer for 2 days yet she was active both days. I cancelled the sale.

mjfarrell0264 may I ask you a question, since you are an expert on Poshmark ? I have heard that it's a good idea to sometimes mark an item not for sale if it's not moving. How long would I keep that keep it not for sale, and can I mark it up a little bit when I put it back on the market? Or, should I leave it the same price if I have a couple of likers? maxwellestate I have had like over 100 accounts that are following EXACTLY 141 that THEY are Following & usually NO followers OR just a few in the past 3 or 4 days. I make them an offer because I still have my moving bundle deal and I get no response and it's very, very generous. then some will share my items and "love" more but don't communicate anything back to me when I pop in and see if they have any questions. should I block them??

catherinekieran THANK YOU, I appreciate you getting back to me. I work my closet approx 4-5 hours per day! I literally can go 2-3 weeks without any sales.. I thought it was my pricing so I end up reducing it and still no sales. I am on a couple of games and don’t feel that I benefit at all , I end up promoting others however don’t feel that I am getting the return on the investment of my time.
