whatagetup instead of declining an offer you feel is too low, you may want to counter. you just shut the door in my face and said f*** you, instead of saying " I don't like your offer, but here is one I like better." sometimes it may take a couple back and forths. just a word of advise from someone who spends thousands on PM monthly and would have been a good customer to have in your corner...

vladavarie @whatagetup I did not see a button to counter, I only saw to accept or decline. I do not know how Poshmark works. you could have given your advice without using curse words, how much more helpful and actually adviceful would have that been? to answer your question - my aunt in Ukraine made it and the reason I declined your offer is because this is how much she asked for it, it takes a lot of time to hand-crochet a hat like that.

whatagetup @vladavarie I apologize. but you may want to read the how to and etiquette articles that Posmark provides links to when you first join. it covers exactly this type of information. when you so quickly declined with no comments or anything, it really was about tge rudest thing you can do to a buyer. think as if the buyer were standing right in front of you. what would you do?

whatagetup you would say no in the nicest way possible. not just no with no explanation or no other offer... you get my point. so my feelings were hurt as a person trying to connect to you as a person, more than as a buyer and seller. so can we start all over again thank?

whatagetup thank you for the info about your grandmother making the hat in Ukraine. The reason I ask is not only to appreciate the hat more, but to see if there is any way to get other color hats just like this? sort of a special order... maybe now you see why my feelings got got hurt and I over reacted, when I was trying to connect to you. vladavarie @whatagetup you are very welcome! yes, I totally understand, your first question notification got buried in other notifications, but I got offer notification in my emails so I saw that email first and only saw your question later and it indeed looked like I ignored it. unfortunately, she does not crochet anymore, I can ask her, but I am not sure how much shipping from Ukraine to USA would be for her to send me everything, we can research. this hat she gave me when I visited.

vladavarie @whatagetup she used to make money by crocheting, but it required a lot of time and could at times be very challenging and tiring with pretty patterns, so she made a decision to transition to another craft. I will still ask her. and thank you, I really do appreciate all the info about the process on Poshmark!
