The historic “Napoleon” Hermès scarf by Ledoux has 5 vignettes of famous paintings wreathed in laurel leaves, 2 examples of his uniform, & the numbers 2 & 5 (for the day of his coronation & death). The bee appears throughout both printed and in the jacquard weave, a process discontinued due to the significant cost of production. This is a stunning scarf w/ incredible detail; a true work of art! Good condition, as shown, with some signs of wear. In a vibrant deep burgundy colorway.
