Decorative buttons, side zip. Lot of stretch. Some wear and discoloration on armpits, but it's minor and mostly on the facing. Still has a lot of wear, no tearing or other staining that I can see. Zipper tested and working. 64% cotton 32% nylon 4% spandex I am 5' 4" and this hits me right below the knee.
