But in my opinion this is for looks only-definitely not every day use. It doesn’t open wide at all but is perfect for carrying cell phone,lipstick and a few things like that. Very classy. Inside is almost pristine. Maybe used once. I’m sure the cowhide is faux and don’t really know if the black is faux leather. Got it from a family member
