@tarcella Hi! We don't have this product on hand so I am unable to give specific measurements. The waist measurement for a size 28 is 29 inches, however!

@freepeople this is when it’s so hard to shop online. I just bought a pair of free people jeans in a size 30 and they fit perfectly, almost snuggly. Your size chart lists a 29/30 as a medium and I’m afraid they may be a little smaller than just a 30. The ones the model is wearing almost looks loose and oversized. If I get my size should they fit me that way? I’m a little over 5’10” and lbs.

Ugh. I just went onto the website and read the reviews. Half of them say true to size, half of them say order up a size. I am right between a 30 and the 31. What would you suggest?

@freepeople ha! Before I have eaten or after? My waist is about 31 1/2 but the sizing charts say a drop waist. And I’m not sure what a drop waste is.

@tarcella Lol! I believe this style is high rise waist - not a drop waist. I feel like this has a slouchy fit - and I just read the reviews and everyone who states it runs true, also tend to say they have a "smaller" waist and bigger hips. I would go with a 31 if I were you, just because they do not have stretch and too tight was defeat the slouchy look!
