olliepurr Stunning piece! A couple questions: how long is the non-sheer portion of the dress? Is it more like a mini dress with a longer sheer overlay, or does the lining hit at a modest length as well? Additionally, would you happen to have the bust/waist/hip measurements for the size 4? It looks like it may run generous, but I want to be sure. Thank you for your time! 🙂

designersteals1 @bmeyer60613 the side that is shorter and has the slit the slit is about 18” inches lower than the armhole, but it has a chiffon overlaying it till 29”. This is all after the armpit hole.

bmeyer60613 thank you! so am I understanding correctly that from the BOTTOM of the armpit hole the chiffon extends 29" in length? I want to make sure it isn't the top of the armpit hole. And I was looking at the size 4 Thanks so much

designersteals1 @bmeyer60613 I think I made a mistake. From the shoulder to the length of the shorter side of the chiffon it is 27” The armpit hole to the slit is: 3 1/2” but it then has the chiffon overlay on it. From Armpit hole to bottom Of (short side of chiffon): 19 1/2” Sorry I had given the wrong measurements last time. But this time it’s correct.

bmeyer60613 thank you very much for double checking. I'm older than the average Posher so that would be too short. Its a beautiful dress; if there is a way to have buy it with a return option please let me know. If so, I will see if I can find the right pants for underneath or if the tailor can improvise something with the flowy fabric to make it longer. Really beautiful :)

designersteals1 @bmeyer60613 not sure posh would allow it to be returned. But you can definitely fix the side. It’s a flowy dress with a layer over it. It can definitely be made to work.
