Vintage gold filled blue stone ring

This is a gorgeous mid century modern retro blue stone ring. It appears to be synthetic spinel but I’m not 100% sure, so I’ve priced it as glass. The stone has a few nicks. It is a size 7.50. The ring shank has a few knocks and the gold filling has faded away (please see the last pictures), otherwise in good vintage condition.
