captivagirl @sheabird17 The soles on the Frye boots have been professionally resoled by a cobbler for skid resistance. Nice to have for the winters! I will measure the calf once I have my morning coffee. Thank you for your interest. Susie

captivagirl @sheabird17 The measurement of the calf from the inside at the top is 15 1/2”. They are size regular, not wide. Hope this helps.
