@mamalovesthat Ok. I have the 9M in my hand. They are black and identical to the others unless he got the brown originally. Here's what I can do. it would cost you $15 to send the originals back to me. And, as you know, Posh doesn't do exchanges. If he really likes them, I'll sell you these 9M for $15 and then he will have one pair for now and the others to wear when he outgrows these. Would that work for you? If so, just put the 9M in a bundle and offer me $15.

@silverdancer275 thank you for shipping so fast! there was just ONE issue --- there was a pretty good size scuff mark right across the top toe area of one boot!! i just felt rather embarrassed, like i got him pair off of the damaged discount shelf 🤦🏼
do you know how i could get it out of a material like this without further damage?

@mamalovesthat Really? I unwrapped them to inspect before shipping and didn't notice anything. I've become an expert at scuffs, stains, etc. So let me test my "fix-it" solutions and I'll get back to you. My friends are giving me a birthday party right now! Getting closer to "dust to dust" every year😎

@mamalovesthat Ok. These are not dress leather shoes they are Chukka boots. The finish is matte and has natural variations. I have the picture I took of your boots before shipment and they had no unusual marks. I just took another new pair and tried black Cream shoe polish. Don’t use the bottled liquid stuff. It worked fine but it isn’t going to shine. Remember that Chukka boots do NOT have an even finish by design. They are athletic, matte finish with steel grommets and not dress shoes.
