cryansantos @ophelias_posh it still hasn’t tracked. Unfortunately if it doesn’t get here by tomorrow I’m going to have to send it back because that was the stipulation of purchasing this as I specifically bought this to bring with me on my trip as a gift for someone. Not sure why it’s taking two days for the post office to scan it, it looks like they haven’t even processed for shipment yet.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos I’m going up there in an hour and I’ll speak with them. Sometimes it takes them awhile to scan items. Unfortunately poshmark doesn’t do returns for items do to shipping delays unless the item is actually lost in the mail. I’m sorry !

cryansantos @ophelias_posh Well it doesn’t sound like this is your fault here it’s the Postal Service however I specifically asked if it would be here by Friday. I am taking off Friday and I will no longer be at this address so there’s no way I can retrieve this item. So I am getting screwed here and paying for something that I cannot use. This is completely insane. Never using Poshmark again.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos is it possible that you could mail it to them or I could see if I could have the package rerouted to the location you are traveling to? I know USPS does those things it just charges a few. I’m sure poshmark would reimburse given the circumstance.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos I understand that. I am just trying to offer a viable solution. The package can be intercepted and delivered to your gift destination address. I provided the link above about how that works. Like I said I’m sure Poshmark will be happy to pay the $15.75 fee since USPS hasn’t held up their end of the bargain.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos like usps can re-route the package to where you are going to be. At the very least they could just have it re-routed to the giftees address if you want extra assurance.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos I traveled around the country in a van for a year and it’s definitely possible to have it routed to a post office the is en route. I’ve had packages re-routed to Arizona while I’m traveling through Florida. They just hold the package at the post office for you. Anyways I understand and am sorry for the inconvenience, I was just trying to help. I feel really bad you won’t get it on time.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos okay I’m sorry again. I spoke with the post office this morning and has to show them my acceptance receipt to get them to manually enter your tracking number in their system. So that should update here today, even though it might very well be states away at this point. They couldn’t explain why it didn’t update but since I had the receipt they were able to manually enter the tracking for us.

ophelias_posh @cryansantos I’ve already emailed poshmark a copy of the acceptance receipt showing the actual date it was mailed; two days ago now I believe. So I’m hoping they will refund you since USPS didn’t guarantee the shipping they promised.
