jalapan Salton Hot Trays are so awesome! I have my mom’s from when I was little. Why did people stop using these? (Because microwaves were invented???)

jalapan @saintsvintage If we do family movie night (on TV) and get Chinese takeout, for example, we plug the Salton tray in and put serving dishes on it so we have a little buffet that stays hot. If we are watching a game on TV, we put it on the coffee table and keep nacho cheese dip and hot snacks warm. It’s awesome! If I’m cooking a large/complex meal, I can keep finished dishes warm without occupying stove or counter space.

jalapan @saintsvintage Honestly we have 4 or 5 of them and can handle a full brunch spread. I don’t know why people don’t use them anymore!
