5th Avenue Designs Rustic Decor Fabric from 1960s - Unique Design in Fall Colors - Cotton Barkcloth - Appears to Have Been a Sample Piece
From 5th Avenue Designs Inc. in the 1960s, this is a one yard piece of rustic patterned cotton barkcloth, upholstery-weight fabric remnant, never used. The colors are primarily orange, brown, and green. The random pattern is of antique images such as lamps, eagles, horses, bottles, etc. It would be perfect for making pillow covers, tablecloth, seat covers, simple curtains, tote bags, and more.
It has stitched bound edges on all sides, and measures 37.5 x 50 inches. Across one of the long edges, there are a series of very small, rough cut holes as if it was hung from a curtain road at one time or hung as a sample display in a fabric store. They extend approximately 1.5 inch into the fabric. It was manufactured in USA. It is color fast cotton and does not appear to have been laundered.
It would be fun for making decor items in a boho, hippie, or rustic themed home!
NOTE: Vintage items may show signs of wear. I have made every effort to accurately describe the item. Please check all images as they are part of the description.
